Avonlea Village itself is only a few kilometres away. Traditional Island story telling and song; children's music show the whole family enjoys; traditional songs and tales of the sea; traditional East Coast music, fiddling, step-dancing and some dramatic moments as the characters of Avonlea showcase the best in Island talent; enjoy the talents of the Children of Avonlea School as Anne debuts and Charlie Sloan steals the show; picnic in our beautiful gardens while enjoying lively Island music.
At the old Campbell homestead at Silverbush, enjoy the beautiful grounds overlooking the Lake of Shining Waters that inspired L. M. Montgomery. View many artifacts pertaining to L. M. Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables.
Santa's Woods is within walking distance of Rustico Acres. Santa's barbecues; little tykes wagons, baby change and play centre; an abundance of toys, games, activities around every pathway; small bird/animal pets; motorized vehicles, little tyke trains; Santa's surprise visits; Bouncin' Boxers.
