August 3--8 5-nights Cottage 7-Semi-detached Cottages
Byron is the first Airbnb host in years not to crowd my inbox with robotic emails and them push for a 5-star review after a run-of the-mill experience.
So, it's probably not a coinsidence that I had the best stay with Byron's place that I've had in a long time! Cottages are clean, rustic and simple, but totally functional. The property is extremely well-maintained. You get tons of privacy along of course with interesting neighbours in the other cottages who were really friendly and from places all over North America. It's not a waterfromt high-end rental, but the price reflects that and it's quick drive to the ocean. The location is excellent. There are a couple of great beaches within a 5 to 10 minute drive and tons of other beaches within a short drive as well. The town of North Rustico is two minutes down the highway with an authentic lobster restaurant, a couple of great breakfast places, a good coffee shop and some gift shops and even a really wonderful ice cream shop.
